Voluntary Service is a key fundamental principle and a valuable part of the American Red Cross mission.The American Red Cross of Northern New Jersey has over 1,000 dedicated men and women who volunteer their time and energy to help us serve our community. 

We would love to have you join our team of committed volunteers.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for the American Red Cross of Northern New Jersey do a quick self-assessment and follow the easy steps below.

Step 1: Review our Volunteer Opportunities. Find out what opportunities interest you and are available in your area. 

Step 2: Complete the Volunteer Application: Fill out an application online.  A vounteer manager will be in touch with you as soon as possible.  You can also call 973-797-3300 for more information.

Step 4: Schedule an Orientation: Once you have completed the online form a volunteer manager will be in touch with you to schedule an orienation.  The orientation will include an overview of the Red Cross history, mission, values, key services, organization structure and our commitments and other valuable information to give you background knowledge and an understanding of the organization.
