If there was an unconscious child, a choking victim, or even a heart attack victim, will you be able to respond to the emergency?

For nearly a century, the American Red Cross has prepared people to save lives through health and safety education and training. From first aid, CPR and bloodborne pathogens training to swimming and lifeguarding, HIV/AIDS education and Babysitter's Training.

Red Cross training offers flexible programs that help you stay safe and prepare for emergencies. In our recently revised First Aid/CPR/AED program, we have incorporated the latest guidelines for first aid, CPR and emergency cardiovascular care to bring you a wealth of educational innovations to enhance the learning experience.

Learn exactly what to do from the American Red Cross of Northern New Jersey by taking a course or becoming an instructor. Each year, our Red Cross instructors certify thousands of people in many courses, including:

  • CPR, First Aid, Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
