For nearly a century, the American Red Cross has prepared people to save lives through health and safety education and training. From first aid, CPR and bloodborne pathogens training to swimming and lifeguarding, HIV/AIDS education and Babysitter's Training.
Red Cross training offers flexible programs that help you stay safe and prepare for emergencies. In our recently revised First Aid/CPR/AED program, we have incorporated the latest guidelines for first aid, CPR and emergency cardiovascular care to bring you a wealth of educational innovations to enhance the learning experience.
Learn exactly what to do from the American Red Cross of Northern New Jersey by taking a course or becoming an instructor. Each year, our Red Cross instructors certify thousands of people in many courses, including:
- CPR, First Aid, Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Water Safety, Swimming, Lifeguard Training
- Home and Work Safety
- Instructor Courses
By taking a course, you will be able to respond confidently and appropriately in the event of an emergency.

On Site Workplace Training:
Safety is Our Business. Our training programs are designed to meet the unique needs of small and large businesses, manufacturing facilities, membership organizations, schools, and more.
We offer on-site OSHA approved training and we will customize a training program to meet your specific needs. For your convenience, training is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our training classes include course materials, textbooks, DVD videos, and practice sessions on training manikins.
Current programs available include CPR/AED training, Blood borne Pathogens courses, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and a variety of other programs.
